Mud Disc

Mud, competition, adventure. Mud Disc is the fork Columbus esigned for the advanced cyclo-cross racers, as well as for the gravel-minded adventurers, in search of the most extreme off-road conditions. As alternative, and alter-ego, to the Futura Gravel model, the Mud Disc has been developed for the riders that want to use a post-mount disc-brake solution, in combination with quick-release wheels. Important characteristic of Mud Disc is its enviable tire-clearance: with 397mm axle-to-crown air, Mud Disc allows the use of extra-wide tires, up to 42mm, even featuring ultra-deep knobby design, still granting relevant clearance and ability to get rid of the typical heavy-mud of CX circuits and untraced paths. The oversized and tapered 1.5” head is guarantee of stability and reliability even in the most demanding conditions; the T500S carbon-fiber construction enhances the lightness of its structure, and the strategic external-routing simplifies maintenance and assembly.
